Cadillac’s have always been a sign of luxury, now the Cadillac CTS Denver has been able to claim true world class status along its peers BMW, Mercedes-Benz now the Audi and Jaguar. Although the Cadillac CTS is ranked high among its peers, it will definitely stand out in the crowd of them. This winter show off your new Cadillac CTS and stand out among your own peers.

Cadillac CTS Denver Comfort
This year the Cadillac CTS is longer than the previous four-door that it is replacing, the previous generation Cadillac CTS Denver has more of a “Tween” feel to it with it trying to balance between a compact and the mid-size for interior space. Now they have rearranged the spacing on the inside without having to cut into the rear seating by much. There is plenty of room for your knees and head due to the cushions being mounted low rather than the bench like seating. The down fall to the low seating is that getting in and out can be a challenge yet Cadillac tried to combat this with larger doors. Once inside the Cadillac CTS Denver noise is no longer an issue, they have gotten that done to a pure science. The noise that does enter the Cadillac CTS’ cabin it is piped in the opposite frequency that it is going which cancels it out. BMW has the same trick up its sleeve for similar models.

Cadillac CTS Denver Safety
The Cadillac CTS Denver received five stars overall which does include five stars in both the Frontal and Side Impact testing from The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. This could definitely have something to do with the Cadillac CTS having ten airbags, including knee airbags, which comes on all the models. There are also the parking sensors and a rearview camera. The Cadillac CTS doesn’t stop there; there is also the GM’s OnStar that is included for the first year, free! An additional feature is the remote access with your smartphone; all you need is the app. Which let’s face it would come in handy. Some additional features are the parking assist, adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic alerts, forward collision alerts and lane departure warnings. In most other vehicles these warning systems would vibrate the steering wheel; the Cadillac CTS on the other hand has a twist. When there is a warning it sends a shiver through the driver’s seat cushion, which is a smoother alert that a vibrating steering wheel. The cool part is that is triggers the side of the cushion that has the alert. So if you start crossing the yellow line on the right side the shiver will come on the right side of the cushion.

Cadillac CTS Denver Fuel Economy
This year the Cadillac CTS Denver gets better gas mileage than in years past, this has to do with the newly adopted eight speed automatic and also the new turbocharged four cylinder engine. The base four-cylinder is the same as the Cadillac’s ATS, which is rated at 272 horsepower. The rear wheel version of the CTS has a 2 liter turbo four engine that gets 20 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. When you add the option of the all-wheel drive it does drop it down to 19 mpg city and 28mpg highway. Either way they both come with the six speed automatic transmission. Wanting a bigger engine? The Cadillac CTS mid line sedan has a 3.6 liter engine with a V6. This mid line gets 321 horsepower with an impressive 275 pound-feet torque. The EPA isn’t bad either with the bigger engine; its estimated at 19 miles per gallon city and 28 miles per gallon highway when in the rear-wheel drive that has the eight speed automatic. Then there is the all-wheel drive and six speed automatic that gets 18 miles per gallon in the city or 21 on the highway. At the top of the lineup for the Cadillac CTS is the VSport , which has the twin turbo 3.6 liter and a V6. It only comes in rear wheel with a paddle shifted eight speed that is automatic which gets 17 miles per gallon city and 25 miles on the highway.

When you are in the market for an entry level luxury sedan your choices are usually between a few European models that all have the same, slightly, generic body and a nice interior. There simply wasn’t a whole lot to be inspired by and certainly nothing that could fit into the sports side of the segment when you were still trying to keep your prices in the entry level range. That is, there was nothing to choose from until the Cadillac CTS in Denver made its way onto the scene back in 2003. The Cadillac CTS has been going strong for ten years now, and the improvements, hard though they may seem to imagine, keep rolling in for the entry level sports luxury sedan. Can the Cadillac CTS Rickenbaugh Cadillac handle the winter time conditions that we have to face here in Colorado year after year though? Well, if you love the sporty exterior, and the well designed and constructed interior along with the powerful engine and well tuned suspension of the Cadillac CTS, you are in luck. The Cadillac CTS has some options that make it a very good choice for those who have to face the inclement weather year after year.

Cadillac CTS in Denver

Cadillac CTS in Denver

Cadillac CTS in Denver Stylish and Sporty
Although the Cadillac CTS in Denver has been with us for over ten years now there have been only two different generations of the stylish and sporty entry from the long time leader in American luxury. When you have a vehicle that so well delivers what the public is looking for you don’t have to go and play with the formula very often. However, as time goes by even the biggest fans of a particular model may start to want to see a new body roll off the production line and into their Cadillac dealers showroom. The newer version of the Cadillac CTS from your Cadillac Dealership in Denver, which you can buy today, made it’s debut back in 2008. While the original Cadillac CTS was a huge success, the designers at Cadillac did find a couple of ways in which to make the Cadillac CTS Rickenbaugh Cadillac even better. They added to the width of the overall vehicle, not only to give the Cadillac CTS more prowess when it comes to taking those hairpin corners, but to give the Cadillac CTS an overall more aggressive stance that evokes a bully breed of dog rather than the soft office bound exteriors that are usually the mark of the entry level segment. The Cadillac CTS doesn’t just gain its popularity through its looks though. There are some great features that make the Cadillac CTS a top choice when it comes to winter time driving for our Colorado customers.

Cadillac CTS in Denver Sure Footed Driving Experience
The Cadillac CTS in Denver delivers you the kind of surefooted driving experience that you need to have in the Colorado winters, but without the stodgy exterior that you usually associate with the better winter driving vehicles. The Cadillac CTS from your Cadillac Dealership in Denver, first of all, is designed with a sport tuned suspension which is more capable of being nimble and sure footed even when it is only powered by two wheels. This suspension is the first step in making sure you have a safe and fun winter drive. If you can’t react to the obstacles and the other drivers on the road then no amount of traction is going to help you out when the time comes for evasive maneuvering. The Cadillac CTS, though, is designed for enthusiasts who know how to drive their vehicle and would not accept anything less than a great suspension package. You can be confident in your Cadillac CTS Rickenbaugh Cadillac no matter what the roads throw at you.

Cadillac CTS in Denver Sports Luxury
All the suspension in the world isn’t going to be of much help, however, unless you can actually get your tires to hook up with the road in the first place. The Cadillac CTS in Denver saves the day for the sports luxury segment in this regard, by offering an all wheel drive option which is sure to make those of us who were previously relegated to only driving less attractive wagons and crossovers if we happened to live in an area with a bit of snow in the wintertime. Yes the Cadillac CTS offers you the option of upgrading your drivetrain to an all wheel drive version so you don’t have to be faced with the winter and summer car dilemma any longer just because you want to drive something as little sportier than the rest of our block. For those who demand a little more from their vehicles no matter what the weather is like outside, the Cadillac CTS from your Cadillac Dealership in Denver is the sports luxury sedan of choice. COme and test drive one today.

Cadillac CTS in Denver

Cadillac CTS in Denver

Cadillac CTS in Denver rich leather
The seating and other upholstered items in the Cadillac CTS from Rickenbaugh Cadillac come standard with a very rich leather. Leather upholstery is nothing new, yet there are leagues of difference when it comes to the quality of the materials used. The Cadillac CTS in Denver offers us some of the richest leather in the industry. You have never felt this comfortable inside an automobile. Offered in a variety of colors you are sure to be able to get the interior that fits your personality the best. Aesthetics aren’t the only thing that benefit a Cadillac CTS buyer in this leather interior. The seats are also heated to offer you the best in comfort no matter what the conditions are outside. Heated seats aren’t new in the industry, in fact they have been quite popular in recent years. In the past only leather interiors were offered with this feature, but today you can get cloth interiors that offer a heated seat feature as well, yet the cloth can’t stand up when it comes to performance. Leather is much better at holding the warmth that the seat heaters provide. No matter how you look at it the Cadillac CTS has the kind of interior that you want when you are looking for a luxury sports sedan.

Cadillac CTS in Denver a sense of luxury
The interior isn’t just made constructed completely of leather though. When you climb into the cabin of a Cadillac CTS in Denver you will notice the wood trim that decorates the consoles trim panels and the instrument panels as well. Wood interior trim has been a staple of the luxury segment for many years now, and it is quite easy to see why. The wood trim offers a sense of luxury that just isn’t there when you have an interior made from a cheap and inferior plastic. Wood interior trim isn’t the only thing that you will find inside the cabin. You will also find some quite striking anodized aluminum trim pieces that set off the classical styling of the wood trim with a touch of the modern aesthetic appeal. The aluminum is further set off by the feature of piano black trims as well. This cabin is not only one of the most comfortable in the segment, but it is one of the best looking as well. When you climb behind the wheel of the Cadillac CTS you will be sure to feel like you are in a luxury vehicle, unlike some of the competition.

Cadillac CTS in Denver smart technology
The Cadillac CTS from Rickenbaugh Cadillac isn’t just a pretty interior though, you will also find some of the most advanced electronics that are available on the market today. Not only are the systems able to control the climate and the stereo, but you can also control your phone and other digital media devices. This system in the Cadillac CTS is called the CUE infotainment system. The Cadillac CTS in Denver CUE infotainment system isn’t just smart, it also looks great as the controls are all operated by a large color touchscreen display. This display not only delivers the control of the traditional systems that you have come to expect but it offers the kind of menus that have become intuitive to the modern electronically sophisticated set. There are a lack of tactile buttons on the console of the Cadillac CTS, available at your Cadillac Dealership in Denver, as the controls are all linked to different menus within the Cadillac CTS CUE infotainment system. This is smart technology that you normally would only expect to find outside of your car. Unlike some of the touchscreen systems the Cadillac CTS from Rickenbaugh Cadillac offers the additional benefit of tactile feedback when you have touched a button. Beyond all of the traditional controls you can also have the CUE infotainment system display useful info like the weather and stock updates in real time.

Cadillac CTS in Denver luxury and technology
In the midst of all of this luxury and technology it might be easy to forget what the interior is all about. Of course the main function of the passenger compartment is to, well…carry passengers, and their luggage. The front seats offer the most space for the driver and a passenger. The rear seats are bit less generous with the space, but they still offer ample room for the average adult and offer more than enough space for those who are using the Cadillac CTS, available at your Cadillac Dealership in Denver, primarily as a family sedan. The trunk also offers plenty of space with a total of 13.7 cubic feet. This is more than enough space to accommodate the average families luggage.

Information about the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver

2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver, Lone Tree and Wheat Ridge Body Design | Rickenbaugh Cadillac

When it comes down to body design what is it really that we are talking about. Are we referring to the way that a vehicle looks, a purely aesthetic approach or can we be referencing something a little more, like the way the way a vehicle was designed from the ground up to incorporate some of the most modern materials to increase both your safety and the weight of the vehicle. The 2014 Cadillac CTS in Lone Tree is easy to appreciate on the aesthetic side. with its stunning good looks it is easy to see that although there is more to body design than looks the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver  engineers didn’t forget to make this vehicle look as good as it handles. To really appreciate these looks you should come down to your Cadillac Dealership in Denver and take a look for yourself, we promise that you won’t be disappointed.

Cadillac CTS in Denver

Cadillac CTS in Denver

2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver, Lone Tree and Wheat Ridge Unibody Platform
The 2014 Cadillac CTS in Lone Tree from Rickenbaugh Cadillac is designed on a unibody platform. This means that instead of the old style of body which was basically a shell that was designed to rest upon a large frame, the body in ingeniously designed to incorporate both the structure and the cosmetic aspects into one streamlined body. So what does this mean to you the average consumer? Why would you care about the fact that you don’t have a frame resting under your vehicles body in the traditional sense? Well, the answer from your Cadillac Dealership in Denver might surprise you and it has many different ramifications.

2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver, Lone Tree and Wheat Ridge Roll Cage
If you think about the safety features that race car drivers use one of the first things that comes to mind is a roll cage. This is a cage that bolts to the frame of the vehicle and allows the occupant to be protected in the event of a collision. This is a smart idea for a racecar as the likelihood of such an event is huge, so why don’t we have this feature on the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Lone Tree from Rickenbaugh Cadillac? Well the answer is, we do. With the unibody 2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver the entire structure of the vehicle is basically one big piece to begin with. Instead of having to create an extra cage to bolt to the frame of your vehicle, the nature of the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Wheat Ridge design means that the roof rails, the A pillars, B pillars, and inner quarter panels are all part of the structure of the vehicle and act to keep everyone in the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver  safe in the event of an incident.

2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver, Lone Tree and Wheat Ridge Fuel Economy and Performance
The use of a unibody design in the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Wheat Ridge is a great step forward in terms of safety, but one of the downsides to all of that structural steel in a vehicle is that it adds quite a bit of weight which will inevitably make your Cadillac CTS slower and worse when it comes to fuel economy. SO what can be done to fix this problem? Do we have to sacrifice fuel economy and performance for safety? The Cadillac CTS addresses these issues through the use of advanced materials in its construction. Where once the idea was that the heavier a vehicle was the better it would perform in a collision, we now know that weight and strength do not necessarily have to go hand in hand. The use of advanced high strength steel in the Cadillac CTS along with the use of super light weight materials in the cosmetic areas of the vehicle mean that the body can be lighter than ever and the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Lone Tree can still be safer than ever as well.

2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver, Lone Tree and Wheat Ridge Lightweight Materials
How exactly can this use of super lightweight materials make a vehicle safer you may ask. Well the trick is all in the way they are incorporated into the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Wheat Ridge. If you take a look at collision testing documentation in older vehicles vs newer vehicles your first instinct may be that they look similar, but if you look closely you will notice that in the new Cadillac CTS vs in some of the older models of Cadillac, the damage goes around the passenger compartment. In some instances you can have collisions up to 40 MPH in the Cadillac CTS and have zero impact on the structure of the passenger compartment. Combine this with the smart use of seat belts and airbags and you have one of the lightest yet safest vehicles on the road thanks in large part to the smart body design of the Cadillac CTS.

Owners of the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver know that Cadillac has high safety standards that they adhere to when manufacturing a new vehicle. Additionally, the owners of the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Lone Tree are also aware of the safety features that Cadillac offers in the CTS. In fact, the safety features may be the deciding factor when these owners were looking for a new vehicle. Cadillac equipped the 2014 CTS with several standard safety features that may have helped prospective buyers of the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Denver make the decision to become owners. The prospective buyers of the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Lone Tree would have liked how Cadillac offered a rear vision camera as part of the standard package. This camera provides drivers with a view behind the vehicle every time the transmission is engaged in Reverse. The view is projected either on to the in-dash screen or a corner of the rearview mirror. This allows the driver to proceed with confidence.

In addition to the rearview camera, Cadillac installed an Ultrasonic Rear Park Assistant that is able to detect objects, such as curbs, when the Reverse gear is engaged. It has an 8-foot range of detection and emits soft beeps that help to gauge the nearness of object. Once the vehicle is within 12-inches of the item, the beeps become a continual alarm, which alerts the driver to a possible impact. This parking assistant is bound to cut down on bumps with curbs and poles within parking lots. Safety features like this and the rear vision camera may provide owners with discounts on their insurance.

2014 Cadillac CTS In Denver Driving Surfaces
Owners of the 2014 Cadillac CTS in Lone Tree know that the stability of the Cadillac CTS is a must if they are going to take a weekend off and enjoy parks like Red Rocks or South Valley. The twists and turns of the roads leading through Deer Park require a vehicle to be stable. Stabilitrak is an electronic stability control system that keeps the vehicle level on all types of driving surfaces. This system can detect when the wheels are not in contact with the road, such as what happens in a skid. It will automatically assist by applying the proper braking in order to re-establish connection with the road by all four tires. This stability is in addition to traction control that is controlled by the brakes and the engine. The CTS also is equipped with the standard seat restraints and air bags that are included in all the Cadillac vehicles. This includes the child seat restraint system and the 3-point seat belts for driver and front seat passenger. The child seat restraint system anchors the child’s seat to the seat belt structure in the vehicle. This system is compliant with the standards set by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) for children’s safety seats. The Lower Anchor and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system provides installation for both rear facing and forward facing child seats. In addition, the CTS comes equipped with a standard tire monitoring system that will let the driver know if the tires are losing pressure. This will help avoid an accident while the driver is traveling on a highway at higher speeds. The tire monitoring system reads the pressure of the tires and gives the driver information on under-inflated tires. The information can help the driver avoid a flat tire, or it can improve fuel mileage if the tire pressure is too low. Adjusting the pressure will raise the fuel efficiency level of performance.

2014 Cadillac CTS In Denver Road Hazards
Another standard safety feature of the CTS is the OnStar system. This has a crash response monitor that will call for assistance automatically if the vehicle is involved in a crash. The system also gives the driver the ability to connect with a live person anytime that they may need assistance. It not only gives crash assistance, but can put the driver in touch with help in the event of any other type of emergency. This monitoring device does more than give driving directions. It can assist law enforcement in locating stolen vehicles, and it can notify the driver of upcoming road hazards while driving. The 2014 Cadillac CTS in Wheat Ridge Cadillac Dealership in Denver can be test driven to show drivers how the OnStar actually works. That way a prospective CTS owner can try the OnStar themselves on real roads with real hazards. The OnStar system also provides hands-free calling for mobile devices, roadside assistance and remote ignition block.

Cadillac CTS in Denver Pinnacle of Fashion
In the wheels department, which may not have even been a consideration 15 years ago, but nevertheless is one of the most examined features on a vehicle today, we have a very nice lineup of wheels for you to choose from. First off the line is the 18 inch wheel. Available as a painted alloy this wheel looks good on the base models of the CTS from Rickenbaugh Cadillac, but it is not the pinnacle of fashion for the model. For the top of the line we need to move to one of the higher trim levels that give us the option of a serious wheel upgrade. With the Performance or the Premium package we can have out choice between two different wheels. One is an 18 incher, but instead of the paint of the base 18 inch wheel this one features a polished finish that is almost like a subdued chrome. The next option for the Premium package is the 19 inch polished wheel. For a little bit of subdued bling these are the wheels of choice, they remain fashionable without being garish and will really help to round out the good looks of your Cadillac CTS in Denver. The 18 inch wheels are equipped with all season tires and the 19’;s have a summer performance rubber.

Cadillac CTS in Denver Must Have Features
The CTS from your Cadillac Dealership in Denver doesn’t disappoint from the front end either. First of all you will be sure to notice the grille in your Cadillac CTS in Denver. This is the sports grille that give your Cadillac a little more aggression that the standard fare. Flanking the sports grille we have the adaptive HID lamps. HID being, of course, high intensity discharge. This is a type of projector beam which is highly superior to the old style halogens which relied upon nothing more than a bunch of mirrors to dissipate the light in front of the vehicle, while this is a better system than say just a light bulb alone it is far inferior to the HID projector lamps on the CTS. With these lamps you cast a solid beam of light directly in front of the vehicle. You can see much further without blinding oncoming traffic. This is a must have feature for those who drive fast through the mountains. Even more of a necessity for out late night mountain road speed demons is the adaptive function on the lamp. This system takes into account your speed and your steering angle to predict what direction you are going to be driving and gets the lamps there before the front end of the car is. Big buck standing just around that bend, No problem with your adaptive lamps, you’ve still got plenty of time to stop and let him pass.

Cadillac CTS in Denver Cool Functionality Features
The Cadillac CTS in Denver also offers some very cool functionality features. Rain sensing wipers are terribly convenient. I don’t know about you, but I hate having to turn that knob every thirty seconds to match the current rain output. These bad boys do it for you. When your glass gets wet the wipers kick into gear. A little wet means a little bit of wiper, a whole lot of wet means a whole lot of wiper. Very simple, but very convenient. These are just a few examples of some of the exterior features of the CTS you should come down and test drive one today to see what else the CTS has to offer for you.

Cadillac CTS In Denver Performance | Rickenbaugh Cadillac

Luxury and performance rarely ever meet. When they do meet the image that comes to most peoples mind is of a large and under styled German sedan. Starting in 2003, however, that image changed. The premier luxury automaker in the United States, Cadillac, introduced the CTS and changed the way that Americans thought of luxury. No longer was a Cadillac just a big boat meant for older drivers to float around town in. The Cadillac CTS in Denver was one of the first Cadillacs to introduce a whole new look for the brand. Long angular lines brought to mind the European models of years gone by, but with something distinctly American mixed in. Style wasn’t the only revolution that Cadillac underwent with the CTS though. Far from the slow beasts that handled like a hippo on roller skates the CTS was designed for performance. Cadillac even went so far as to develop the CTS using the Nurburgring. For those not in the know, the Nurburgring is a track in Germany known for it’s fierce corners, jumps, harsh climbs, and gravity defying drops. Automakers have been using the Nurburgring for decades to develop race cars, and high performance editions of their top production vehicles. This is not a place to develop a luxury sedan, but that is exactly what Cadillac did, and the result was simply breathtaking.

Cadillac CTS in Denver First Generation Power
For it’s first year the Cadillac CTS in Denver offered us a fair amount of power, but not much in the way of powertrain options. Your Cadillac Dealership in Denver could only offer you one engine option for the CTS in 2003. That powertrain was a 3.2 liter V6 that could pump out 220 horsepower and 218 lb-ft of torque. While this is not a shabby amount of power it was a bit light when considering the rest of the CTS. Of course, power isn’t what you use the Nurburgring to develop. Cadillac spent it’s time in Germany working on suspension and steering. From behind the wheel of the first year CTS it was easy to see that their time was quite well spent. The CTS was outfitted with fully independent multi link suspension that allowed each wheel to go exactly where it was needed to deliver a superior grip in every corner and to minimize body roll, keeping your power going in the precise direction that you want it to go, forward. The steering was just as crisp, offering you the perfect storm of handling goodness. It was easy to forget that you were actually behind the wheel of a very long Cadillac as the handling felt closer to a small hatchback.

Cadillac CTS in Denver First Generation Developments
Cadillac didn’t rest on their laurels after the release of the Cadillac CTS in Denver. For later model years in the first generation Cadillac began to give you a powertrain choice at your Cadillac Dealership in Denver. First off, they began to offer a stripped down version for those who just liked the style of the CTS and not necessarily the performance. When I say stripped down, I am referring only to the sports performance aspects of the vehicle and not the luxury items. The base model received more traditional suspension which offered a superior ride, but sacrificed the handling that was so hard gained back in the German mountains. The base not only lost some of it’s handling abilities, it lost some of it’s power as well. The base engine was a 2.8 liter V6 which offered only 210 horsepower and 194 lb-ft of torque. Of course you can only use the term “only” in reference to 194 horses when you are comparing the base engine to the upgraded 3.6 liter version. The Sport model of the CTS offered us 255 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque from the 3.6 liter V6.

Cadillac CTS in Denver Current Model Power
Cadillac kept the first generation of the Cadillac CTS in Denver running until 2007 when the CTS from Rickenbaugh Cadillac received a complete redesign. In it’s second generation the CTS kept boosting the performance even more. Before we get to the performance, however, we need to address the styling. While the first generation CTS marked the style revolution for Cadillac, with the second generation we learned that there was still plenty of room for improvement. The second generation delivers a truly good looking ride. Power is what we are here to discuss though. Under the hood of the second generation CTS performance trim we find a 3.6 liter V6, but unlike the first generations 3.6 this one can get us all the way up to 318 horsepower. A massive improvement and one befitting this beautiful luxury sports sedan, available at Rickenbaugh Cadillac.
